Borrowing Chromebook Carts:
-Please ensure all Chromebooks are placed back in order and plugged in before the cart is returned to the library- we check the carts for missing computers daily in an effort to reduce the number of Chromebooks that go missing.
-If you come across a Chromebook with an issue, please let me know which Chromebook and what the nature of the issue is so I can do something about it.
Individual students signing out Chromebooks:
Please send students at the start of the period for Chromebooks and have them returned with 5 mins left in the period - I need time to get them put away BEFORE the end of the period.
  • Please be aware that I will be delivering literacy lessons etc. so I might not always be available to sign Chromebooks in/out in a prompt manner if students arrive during the middle of the period.  I will make sure I am available for the first and last 10 minutes of the period though.
Teaching Support Opportunities:
As I have shifted to a full Library schedule this year, I am better able to provide teacher support services like co-teaching in the library or helping to develop and deliver lessons relevant to the library like tasks that will include the use of research skills, communication, reading, how to use our databases effectively, how to synthesize information... if you have anything you would like to explore with me please don't hesitate to reach out.
